After two seasons as the running back at the University of Washington, Adam Mohammed is looking for a new home.
On Wednesday evening, Mohammed announced his intentions on social media to enter transfer portal once it opens on January 2.
In Mohammed’s two seasons at Washington, the Apollo high school alum appeared in 26 games. Mohammed first made his mark in special teams before gradually seeing his role in the backfield increase.
During 2025, Mohammed broke out as a rusher with 523 rushing yards in a backfield spilt with Jonah Coleman. In the final three games of the season, Mohammed started against Purdue and UCLA before receiving a big role against Oregon in the regular season finale once Coleman returned from injury.
Prior to attending Washington, Mohammed had signed and enrolled at the University of Arizona but entered the transfer portal less than two weeks after starting in Tucson due to head coach Jedd Fisch resigning at Arizona to take the same job at Washington.
As a three year starter at Apollo high school in Glendale, Mohammed rushed for 5,180 yards, and 94 touchdowns. As a receiver out of the backfield, Mohammed had 46 receptions for 761 yards and 11 touchdowns.
